Watch the video as Lydell Martin gives a walk-through of a completed SoyRoaster system, ready to ship to a customer’s farm. Lydell will explain how the soybeans flow from your storage bin into the roaster hopper through a fill auger, then enter the oil-jacketed roaster where they are cooked. From there, the beans are transferred to the cooling hopper and cooled down to ambient temperature using a built-in axial fan. Once cooled, they are ground in the hammermill, which delivers a consistent particle size ideal for feeding. The roasted soymeal then exits the container through a discharge pipe and can be directed to your feed bunk or storage bin. Everything is automated and controlled through a touchscreen panel, making the SoyRoaster a simple, efficient solution for on-farm soybean processing.
