Our Hammer Mills provide a powerful, high-capacity grinding solution for any feed processing setup. Available in 18″ and 24″ models, these rugged machines process up to 5 tons of grain per hour using a balanced milling head and reversible hammers for long-lasting durability. Achieving the perfect consistency is simple: you can easily swap the quick-release screen for a different size or use VFD control to precisely adjust the wingtip speed.
For those requiring an ultra-fine product, our 24-inch Hammer mill paired with a high RPM motor is capable of grinding cornmeal to sub-200 microns. This fine-grind cornmeal significantly increases the surface area of the grain, allowing rumen bacteria to break down starch more completely. By improving starch digestibility, your dairy cows can extract more energy from their feed, leading to increased milk production and better feed efficiency.
To move your product, we utilize a 7.5 HP blower system instead of a standard auger. The ground grain falls into the intake boot and is carried by airflow through a piping system to a cyclone mounted above your bin or feed bay. This system offers several major benefits: the ambient airflow rapidly cools any heat generated by friction within the mill, and the blower allows you to move material up to 50 ft vertically and 60 ft horizontally with fewer moving parts to maintain.
